AI adoption for small and medium businesses
We help small and medium businesses use AI where it saves time and money now, across customer service, sales, operations, finance and reporting. Fixed-price first steps, your data kept safe, and enterprise engineering behind every change.
Four plain steps. Each one is useful on its own and priced on its own, so you never commit to more than the next one.
01 · Find the wins
In a short, fixed-price review we look at how work actually gets done in your business and list where AI helps now, what it would cost and what could go wrong. You get a ranked list, and we set up one quick win before we finish.
02 · Pilot one
We take the best idea and run it for a few weeks with the people who will use it. We measure the time saved and the quality of the result. Then you decide to keep it, change it or drop it.
03 · Roll it out
We connect it to the tools you already use, write the how-to, train your team, and agree the rules for what data AI may see and what a person must check.
04 · Run and improve
A light monthly check of cost and quality, updates as the AI tools change, and the next item from your list. Stop whenever you like; everything we build is documented and yours.
Usually with the tools you already pay for. We are independent, so we recommend what fits your business rather than one product.
Draft replies in your tone, answer common questions on your website, and sort the inbox so urgent messages come first.
Proposals, follow-ups and content in your own voice. Call notes and next steps written into your customer records.
Read invoices, forms and documents into your systems. Write your procedures and keep them up to date.
Categorize spending, prepare reconciliations and month-end summaries for a person to check and sign off.
Ask plain-English questions of your sales, stock or customer data and get an answer or a chart back.
Simple internal apps, and connections between the tools you already have, built in days with AI coding agents and tested before you rely on them.
Every step is fixed price and agreed in writing before it begins. Pick the size that fits.
Your team and us, working on your real tasks. You leave with three ranked ideas and your AI accounts set up safely, in your company's name.
The full list of where AI helps in your business, costed and ranked, with one quick win set up before we finish.
One idea, proven with real users and measured, then rolled out to the team or dropped. Your call, on the evidence.
Ongoing help: roll-outs, training, a monthly check of cost and quality, and the next idea from your list.
Prices are quoted on the free call once we know the size of your business and what you want to start with. We take a limited number of clients at a time, so the work gets done properly.
The habits we bring from banking and telecoms, scaled to a small business.
Business AI accounts in your company's name, on plans and settings that keep your data out of model training. We check the settings with you.
Anything that goes to a customer, moves money or changes records is checked by one of your people first.
A one-page AI use policy: which tools, which data, and what needs a second look. Written with you, in plain words.
Every automation we build is written down: what it does, what it costs to run and how to switch it off.
One change at a time, with the old way kept until the new one has proven itself.
Access control, passwords and keys kept out of documents and code, software images and libraries scanned for known vulnerabilities, locked backups, and a record of every change, scaled to your size.
Arransystems is a founder-led consultancy. You work with Edward Cook directly.
Ed has spent 28+ years delivering technology for banks, telecoms and retailers in the UK, Asia and North America, as a technical delivery manager, project manager and engineer. His work spans Agile delivery, DevOps, multi-cloud security, infrastructure and data.
Since 2004 he has also built Arransystems' own software, rebuilt in 2026 with AI coding agents under written engineering standards. That is where our AI methods were proven, under the same discipline he brought to banks and telecoms.
We have worked inside large regulated organizations and built a product company from nothing. That is how we know which enterprise habits are worth bringing to your business, and which would only slow it down. About the enterprise practice

We recommend what fits you, starting from where you are today: your people and their skills, your culture and ways of working, your tools, your data and your budget
Start with a half-day session. Each step is useful on its own, and you decide after each one whether to go further.
We use business accounts in your name, check the data settings, and agree in writing what AI may and may not see.
It takes on the repetitive parts of the work. Your people review, decide and deal with customers.
Usually not. We start with the tools you already pay for and only add something when it clearly earns its place.
Whichever fits your business. We are independent, so our advice is about what suits you, not about selling one product.
